Yoga
This policy explains your responsibility for your own health when participating in yoga classes, whether delivered online or in person. Whilst yoga can be extremely therapeutic, yoga is not a therapy and as such it is not a replacement for treatment by a medical health professional. Finding Felicity and Felicity Pryke accept no responsibility for any illness or injury sustained during any yoga class. Yoga teachers are not medical health professionals, and therefore they cannot be expected to know the particulars of treatment for any medical condition. You are the expert on your own body.
Yoga is a method of self enquiry in which the responsibility lies firmly with the practitioner to ascertain what they should or should not be doing by paying close attention to how they feel. You are strongly advised to listen to your body, to rest whenever your breathing feels laboured, or you feel tired. If you are unsure about the suitability of yoga for an existing condition you are strongly advised to check with your GP or medical professional that you are well enough to attend a class. If you have any medical issues you wish to discuss prior to class please email hello@findingfelicity.co.uk.

Reflexology
Reflexology is a complementary therapy; it must not be used as an alternative to modern medicine but an accompaniment to it. Although it may show up tensions in the body, reflexologists are not medical professionals and cannot claim to claim to cure, diagnose or prescribe.
While reflexology is suitable in the vast majority of cases, there are rare occasions when reflexology should not be performed. You will be asked to complete a health questionnaire before your initial treatment. You also have a responsibility to inform your therapist of any changes to your health before any further treatments. Finding Felicity cannot be held responsible for any issues arising if this information is withheld.
If you have any medical concerns you should contact your GP or medical professional.
